The part the calculator above doesn't show

It's not just time. It's what gets lost.

COS narratives — finish the write-up right after a hard eval, one that took real effort from the child, the parent, and you, and it shows: what comes out is close to a checklist — the child did this, didn't do that, straight off the eval tool — stretched into a couple of sentences that are supposed to read like a narrative.

Push it to tonight instead, and it's unpaid — the same high-stakes clinical judgment made again, later, more tired, with less left over for each one.

At this pace, you're only making that trade-off a handful of times a month.

Progress summaries — you're supposed to capture six months of progress, but without re-reading every session note, what actually makes it in is whatever you remember — which in practice is the last two weeks, not the arc that actually got the child here.

At this pace, you likely still remember most of what happened between summaries.

COS Tool and Review Tool both start from your actual notes, not your memory of them — a full eval captured before you're too drained to write it well, and a summary that covers six months because it actually read six months of notes.

How this is calculated: (COS narratives/month × minutes saved) + (progress summaries/month × minutes saved), converted to hours, ×12 for the year, valued at your hourly rate, compared against the $35.99/mo founder bundle. The only real assumptions are the two "minutes saved" sliders — set them from your own experience, not ours. Founder pricing is available now, for a limited time.

FAQ

  • Do I need both tools? If you complete COS documentation AND write periodic/annual reviews, the bundle is the best value. If you only do one or the other, the individual tools are available separately.

  • What devices does this work on? Any device with a modern browser — desktop, laptop, iPad, iPhone. Nothing to install.

  • Is child data stored anywhere? The COS Tool processes everything in your browser — no data ever leaves your device. The Review Tool sends redacted session notes (name replaced with initials, Medicaid number removed) to the AI for processing. No data is stored on our servers.

  • Does this tool need access to my Google account? No — you can use both tools with just your Childhood Interventions login, no Google needed. If you choose to save a report to your own Google Drive, you'll be asked to sign in with Google at that moment, and the tools can only see the file they just created for you, nothing else in your Drive.

  • Can my whole team use one subscription? Each subscription is for individual provider use.

  • Will the price go up later? Yes, over time — this is introductory pricing for our early providers. Sign up now to get today's rate.

  • Why Trust This Tool?

Childhood Interventions' provider tools were built by Dr. Kimberlee Spencer, a Developmental Therapist with a PhD in Child Development, former Program Director of Western Panhandle Early Steps, and former Georgia Deputy Director of Early Intervention.

This isn't a generic documentation tool. It was built by someone who has sat exactly where you're sitting.
